Italian brand Flos acts as a benchmark for high quality lighting solutions, functional and innovative lighting, and excellent design. Flos boasts a catalogue enriched with iconic products. From the unmissable Arco floor lamp by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni to creations by Philippe Starck such as the Ktribe collection, pendants and walls lights, the Flos designer lighting brand is always experimenting with production techniques. Materials and technologies inspire the imaginations of renowned designers such as Jasper Morrison, Patricia Urquiola and Marcel Wanders. The brand is responsible for a wealth of iconic pieces that have gone on to form part of the history of design. The "cocoon" material was one of the first such experiments and is a plastic resin created in the USA and used by Flos. It emerged in the 1960s with the Gatto lamp and more recently in 2007, with the Skygarden pendant light by Marcel Wanders.
